Lattice Stars with a Vintage Twist

Lattice Stars has been gaining popularity thanks to Rhonda Dort!

She has a love for vintage linens and is finding ways to incorporate them into the sweetest quilts.

Rhonda came across Lattice Stars and I’m thrilled she is using the pattern to teach a Free Facebook Class called ‘Vintage Lattice Stars’! Quilters are busy gathering fabrics, the pattern and treasured linens. Class begins on March 1st.

How cheery is her 30’s version? It reminds me of a picnic quilt… but you’d never catch me ‘picnicing’ on it!!

Each star center is carefully cut and thoughtfully embellished.

Hop on over to her Facebook group and join the party!

Here is the original Lattice Star quilt. The soft marbled gray combined with scrappy reds is truly striking. And it lends its simple design to vintage loveliness!
