Dragging Myself into 2021

We can all agree, 2020 won’t be easily forgotten! Somehow I convinced myself I would wake up on New Years Morning feeling a great sense of motivation…nah, didn’t happen. But being that it WAS the beginning of a New Year I reluctantly dragged myself up the stairs and into my sewing room. I honestly wanted to climb back in bed because I knew what awaited me … a cluttered mess of December’s activities. It took me all day and then some to put it back together.

So here it is, already 25 days into January. Somehow, forcing myself up the stairs on January 1st did spark some motivation!

I have been contemplating my very own website for years, I just did not know how to go about it. An encouraging conversation with my oldest son Tucker, along with the advancements in online web development, I welcome you all to my very own Website!

For those who purchase quilt patterns on Etsy, my shop will remain the same. And for those who follow my blog Chezstitches.blogspot.com I will be slowly transitioning all my tutorials, freebies, etc. to this new location. My blog will remain, but I will move forward here and link back to the blog when needed. I’m sure you all recognize this picture of Lucy … it’s been a branding photo for Laugh Yourself into Stitches for years!

The next accomplishment since the start of 2021 is a new quilt pattern, Love Potion No. 9

The Love Potion No. 9 Quilt was inspired by the 1960’s song…take a listen below.
