A Cotton Daisies Quilting Tutorial has been created with the help of my friend and wonderful longerarmer, Melissa Hoffman of Fiddlestitches and Sawdust . Now you can add the same quilting motifs to your Cotton Daisies quilt!

Linda Hrcka’s The Quilted Pineapple #8 curved ruler was used to assist with the rounding of the petals on both the main daisy block as well as the alternate block.

The Cotton Daisies Stencil used on the alternate block (shown on the left) is available in my shop for free. It can be downloaded, printed to size, cut and traced onto a heavier cardstock. Trace this template onto the alternate block (i use a water soluble pen) and with the use of The Quilted Pineapple #8 ruler, follow the Cotton Daisies Quilting Tutorial video.

Note: when printing the Cotton Daisies Stencil, make sure your printer is set to ‘no scale’ or does not shrink to fit the page. I have added a small 1” scale so you will know if it has printed properly.
