I made my flag a couple years ago and without giving away Debbie’s personal instructions and sizes, i am simply sharing what i used to create my flag.
Wool scraps and prairie cloth for the background
i used fray check around the prairie cloth to keep if from fraying.

My tip on stuffing any kind of bowl filler is to first fill with crushed walnut shells…using a funnel. Then add a bit of stuffing to keep the walnut shells from spilling all over when whip stitching the opening closed.
