Farmhouse Love!

According to Facebook, (LOL) i released Farmhouse Love pattern 2 years ago today!

Its one of my favorite Valentine quilts to display and actually hang around for months after too!

The quilt is very easy to piece and that border even though it looks complex, it’s just simple 9-patches set on point…

What you say? simple? Well, yes it really is and it might even enhance your piecing skills (but that is good, right?) To assist with the piecing of this border, i offer a pictorial that lays it all out. You know, pictures are worth a 1000 words! I’m also working up a Valentine version of my recent Fall quilt called ‘Hoot’n in the Barn’.

Sometimes it’s awfully hard to visualize a quilt in different fabrics! Here is a peak at my Valentine ‘Lov’n in the Barn’ blocks.

Lov’n in the Barn is all pieced and ready to load onto my longarm! I can’t wait to show you! The pattern will use the same instructions as Hoot’n in the Barn, but with a slight twist for some custom quilting! Hum…..
